However, this project became special, as it was planned to simultaneously release the cross for both the Japanese market and for the western. This seemingly insignificant detail is actually an important milestone, since Tales of Crestoria was the first game in a series that the Japanese could immediately try out. The developers described their brainchild as “RPG, written in blood and betrayal” and created a world living in the fantasy Middle Ages. Its peculiarity is that all respectable residents carry the so -called spheres of visions that can, if desired or automatically record crimes and transfer images to all central spheres located on the squares of settlements. So an attempt to steal a pie from the shop of a local merchant will see the whole world. If at this time a certain number of people recognizes someone criminal, his sphere of vision will be exploded and printed on the body as a stain of guilt, after which the mysterious performers appear from nowhere and disappear along with the criminal to nowhere. The main character of our history is Kanat Huguer, a kind and naive guy from the village, admiring how easy and free to live in a world where criminals are so easy to catch and condemn. But everything changes when reality from the turntable breaks the front door and shows how perverted justice it can be and how easily it is possible to manipulate people and make them believe in what did not happen. As a result of the rope, he himself becomes convicted, but thanks to a strange guy named Vishes and his childhood girlfriend, Misella, saves from the performers and goes on a trip to find his place in life.

We must pay tribute to the scriptwriters, the story turned out to be surprisingly high -quality and interesting. This is the level of the average part from the main series with unexpected turns and situations. Each character in the team (and there are currently five of them, the sixth is planned) reflects on his past and the present and is endowed with a rather stereotyped, but vivid character. And since this is also a crossover, a whole heap of heroes from other episodes who act in the form of local residents and have a similar character with their stormy past were poured here. Between the chapters, even side plot lines were arranged for them.

The only thing I did not like is the villains, they are all some kind of cuckoo, not a single one who could think at least a little rationally. All as one religious fanatics, crazy scientists and others who use the current situation for their own purposes.

But the main emphasis was placed precisely to show what happens when justice falls into the hands of the crowd. The scriptwriters took the Lynch court as a basis and, literally every nuance and situation, were able to wrap it all in a standard adventure. Many people’s courts and ultimately tragedies occurred because of personal revenge and rejection, self-defense, quarrels. But people for the most part are lazy and irresponsible and ready to believe in everything that will be shown in the main square, without even trying to figure out the situation, and those who begin to doubt, the crowd immediately besieges. I pay tribute to the developers who were able to show the most diverse situations with the lynching and behavior of the crowd so believable and even hid you a couple of interesting phenomena from social psychology, which were clearly used in the game.

Let’s just stop at them. To date, more than a hundred characters are available and literally every week they are replenished with new. And if you thought about where there were so many of them, then many exist in several variations. Just recently, the new Yuri from Tales of Vesperia was added and there were about three or four of them, different in clothes and skills-choose the most charming and effective. In addition, all fighters differ in quality: sr and ssr. The first is easier to pump and they often fall out, but the latter are much more effective and have superpowity – Hi Ogi or Mystic Artes – the scale of which is replenished during attacks. In general, Tales of Crestoria is a serious project from responsible people. But do not be deceived, there are also minuses here. For example, in the raids, bosses usually use 2-3 abilities and one cuppruder that is preparing several moves and requires a special scale to be confused to interrupt it. So, in addition to them, there is, as I called it, a donation blow. Just once every 12 moves, a regular attack causes space damage, after which the player often has only two choice: to ask for help or use donate currency to revive. She is not reported in any way, it does not stand out in any way, but at the same time it blows more than a superior, which can prepare up to four moves. This is such a clear hint of a donat and a vile welcome that I just have no words. To survive it, heroes should be several orders of magnitude stronger than the enemy. And since I mentioned the donat, I will briefly say about it: in addition to the above case, there is no need for a donate. During acquaintance and the candy-flower period with the cross, it will ask gifts so that they are enough to complete its protege. The rest is a matter exclusively with your little collector, who will probably want this cute face or that formidable Damager.

In the end I want to warn about you understand what you are dealing with. This is not a major adventure from which not to come off, but entertainment for 5-10 minutes.
